There is no textbook on how to create a truly great sportfishing boat, but the creators of Tasman Boats - Jason Hutchins and Paul Bury - have taken a ground up approach on all Tasman boat designs. The partners bring a range of vital skills and experiences to the table, including boat building, qualifications in naval architecture and aerospace engineering, a rich heritage of commercial fishing, crewing in Sydney to Hobart yacht races, and a passion for offshore game fishing. Established in 2021, the goal for Tasman Boats was to develop the most advanced, efficient and stable boats for sportfishing in Australia. Tasman boats are designed to the highest specifications and manufactured to the highest standards so they can maintain superior performance in the harshest of conditions.

Hey Jase,
We fished today out of Bermi. This morning, we had 15 to 20 of south easterly after 3 days of blowing 30 knots. Big swell.
We are all extremely impressed with the boat. I have spent a lot of time on bigger boats along with my mate Ross who was with us today and we are extremely impressed -extremely. I expected a lot and it delivered more.
Only the first day but wanted to give you our positive feedback from 1 day in some shit.
